Meet Jonas Fernandes

Jonas is highly adaptable and capable of handling high-pressure situations while also being personable, detail-oriented, and exceptionally organized.

Jonas was born and raised in Brazil and is a native Portuguese speaker. He has lived in Canada, Japan, and the U.S. and is also fluent in English, Spanish and Japanese. He is consistently recognized for delivering high-quality interpretation services, earning praise from judges, attorneys, government officials, healthcare professionals and subject matter experts in their fields. 

 

Jonas was also selected to work as an interpreter for the Brazilian President and his Ministers at the 2022 Summit of Americas. In addition, he has worked at the Toronto Film Festival, FIFA World Cup, Climate Summit of the Americas, L'Oreal, Press Conferences including for DJ Alok and Indigenous artists of the Amazon, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Congress, and many others.
